GENDER EQUALITY, DEMOCRATIC VALUES AND ROLE OF YOUTH

The Department of Peace, Conflict and Human Rights (PCHR), BUP, in collaboration with Bangladesh Nari Progati Sangha (BNPS), organized a seminar titled “Gender Equality, Democratic Values and Role of Youth” on 4 May 2026 at Bijoy Auditorium, BUP. The discussion highlighted youth leadership, challenging gender norms, and promoting democratic values for inclusive social transformation. PCHR students actively engaged in the interactive discussion and Q&A session, reflecting strong awareness of contemporary social issues. The seminar concluded with remarks emphasizing the importance of such timely initiatives and encouraging continued student participation. Overall, the program served as an effective platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and awareness-building.
