Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) recently organized a meticulous selection program for research projects for the fiscal years 2023–24 (2nd Group) and 2022–23 (Final presentation). The event, held on April 4, 2024, at the CHSR Seminar Hall, witnessed a robust participation of eligible candidates eager to contribute to scholarly advancements.
The program was graced by eminent personalities including Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Khondoker Mokaddem Hossain, Brig Gen Mohammad Shahiduzzaman Khan, Dean of the Centre for Higher Studies & Research (CHSR) and Captain Mahbubur Rashid, Director of CHSR, BUP. Their presence underscored the university's commitment to fostering a conducive environment for research and academic growth.
Professor Humayun Kabir, subject expert from the Department of Geography and Environment at the University of Dhaka, lent his expertise to the evaluation process, enriching the deliberations with insightful perspectives and scholarly critiques.
Throughout the event, eight project directors presented their research proposals, showcasing a diverse array of topics and methodologies. Their presentations reflected a blend of innovation, academic rigor, and a profound commitment to addressing contemporary challenges through research-driven solutions.
